Platform terms of service: PLACEHOLDER
PLACEHOLDER TEXT, NOT A LEGAL AGREEMENT. Nothing on this page binds anyone. Counsel writes the real terms; until a real version is published, no one is asked to accept this document.
What the real terms must cover
- The alarm company holds every alarm license its monitoring requires, in each state where it monitors.
- The service is not offered for federal or federally funded sites, or for critical-infrastructure sites.
- The service never uses face recognition. Video analysis only marks events as flagged for review by a person, and its results are never accusations.
- No cameras in restrooms, locker rooms, or break rooms, and notice signage wherever the law requires it.
- Live look-in happens only during an alarm. Talk-down is used only where signage is posted and the customer agreed in writing that operators may speak through the site's speakers.
- Non-payment leads to notices and restricted features, and alarms and customer alerts never stop because of it.
- Retention and backup windows, and what happens to the alarm company's data when it leaves.
- The alarm company warrants its rights to the names, logos, and domains it configures.
